Dolby Ingest Setup (IMS2000, IMS3000)

IMPORTANT NOTE: Any changes to the IP address configuration for the IMS are not applied until after the IMS has been rebooted, regardless of what the user interface and console report. It MUST be rebooted before the new address will be used.

To add the CSX to your Dolby server, you will need to access the Content Feed Manager. If you have the IMS2000, you will find it under Administration; if you have the IMS3000, it is under Setup and Maintenance, then Device Management

From there, select New, and this will open a new section.

Type CSX as the Identifier and select FTP from the Ingest Protocol pull down menu. You will require a Server IP, Username and Password to complete this step, and this information is provided by CineSend. Under Advanced Options, make sure Composition Playlist is selected (it usually is by default).

If you wish to conduct a quick test, the test button will become visible once the IP address is entered; press the Test button, and a test overview window is displayed, indicating the status and the response.

After these fields are filled, select Save.

You can now ingest content from the CSX receiver. Once you receive content, open the Ingest Manager and select CSX from the Select a Location pull down menu. If you have the IMS2000, you will find it under Control > Ingest Manager; if you have the IMS3000, it is under Status > Ingest Scan. You can then select the content you wish to ingest.
